It's not often we get thunderstorms in the heart of winter, but we got one today. With hail, too.
I'm trying to think if I've ever included a hailstorm in a story. I can't recall any instances. I'll make a mental note of it and have some hail pummel my characters at some point. Weather is a great tool for setting a mood.
