Neat video

It's the history of Europe, or at least the boundaries and populations, from 400 B.C. to 2017.  Pretty cool stuff.

The most dramatic moment is when the Mongols show up and steamroll half the continent.  The music "hits" at the same time, adding to the effect.

It's also remarkable to note how long the Roman Empire lasted and how stable its borders were for so long.
